"Tsunami Hour" is a body of work that deals with my experience of a devastating Tsunami in my home town. It is my direct and very personal response to the 2004 Boxing day Tsunami that took my mother's life and over 170,000 life in my hometown Aceh, Indonesia. It depicts coastal scenes and aspects of daily life in Aceh, drawing on the province's cultural diversity, religion and the strong values around family and friendship that exist within local community.Read more at: http://tinyurl.com/tsunamihour. Exhibition ran from 8-25 May 2013, Artstation, Cellblock, 1 Ponsonby Rd, Auckland.
